The complete list of public airports includes airports of federal importance, as approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated April 20, 2016 No. 726-r. Airports not included in this list are private.
In addition, all existing airports must be registered in the "State Register of Civil Airfields and Heliports of the Russian Federation".
